“Humanitarian”

Trump’s “special” envoy Steve Witkoff praised Russian President Vladimir Putin as a "humanitarian" during a meeting in St. Petersburg, after Russia released 74-year-old American citizen Stephen Hubbard. This represents ONE ACT OF MERCY by a man who’s murdered over a million people.

Commentary:

History will likely describe Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine as an imperial miscalculation on the part of Vladimir Putin stemming from his ill-thought 19th-Century Imperialist objectives.

But yesterday, one of Trump's most loyal "sycophants" Steve Witkoff, hailed Vladimir Putin, quite possibly one of the most horrid mass-murderers on Earth a "Humanitarian".

HUMANITARIAN: A humanitarian is a person who is devoted to promoting human welfare, reducing suffering, and improving the lives of others.

Witkoff, a Trump loyal real estate investor and former attorney, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the rehab facility they entrusted to attempt to cure their son's opioid addiction, who took his own life. Basically instead of prosecuting an arsonist, blaming the match.

By all definitions Vladimir Putin (and Trump) are WARMONGERS who have committed and continue to commit WAR CRIMES.

WARMONGER: A warmonger is a politician, leader, or person who constantly urges, promotes, or tries to stir up a war or military conflict instead of choosing peaceful solutions.

WAR CRIME: A war crime is a serious violation of the laws and customs of war—known as international humanitarian law (IHL).

FACT: The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 17, 2023, charging him with the war crime of unlawful deportation and transfer of children from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation. United Nations investigations and the Ukrainian government have documented tens of thousands of additional alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Russian forces, including systematic torture, attacks on civilian infrastructure, executions, and forced population transfers.

The Russian government has rejected the charges and dismissed the ICC warrant.

EVIDENCE "A": Putin's army committed mass Killings in Bucha including the execution of civilians, mass graves, and bodies left in the streets with bound hands discovered in the town of Bucha after it was reclaimed from Russian troops.

EVIDENCE "B": Putin's army is committing ongoing Attacks on Ukraine's Civilians and Infrastructure including repeated, systematic missile and drone bombardments targeting Ukrainian residential apartment buildings, maternity hospitals, schools, and energy power grids without military necessity.

EVIDENCE "C": Putin's army continues to inflict torture and sexual violence against innocent Ukrainian citizens: Widespread use of torture chambers, arbitrary detention, filtration camps, and sexual violence documented by international investigators across Russian-occupied territories.

For a United States representative of diplomacy to call Vladimir Putin anything but a "WARMONGERING WAR CRIMINAL" is F**KING INSANE!!!

In case you have any doubts of why the people of Ukraine wish to not be forced into the Russian Federation: I have a memory to share. In the 1980's during the dismantling of the "Soviet Union" I recall either Russian "Supreme Soviet" Boris Yeltsin or Mikhail S. Gorbachev visited the United States. During his tour of American culture he visited a grocery store. Reports were as he walked through the store, with shelves packed with fresh food, pantry staples, and household goods HE WEPT.

Russian people lived in a communist fog of political repression, shortages, and a lack of personal freedom. A row of CHEESE made a Russian "Supreme Soviet" cry.
