Republican Senators John Cornyn of Texas and Thom Tillis of North Carolina formally announced their support for Todd Blanche's nomination for attorney general after reaching a long-sought agreement to end the controversial "anti-weaponization" fund and clarify the scope of a sweeping deal for tax immunity.
By the term "agreement" they mean Trump probably promised them he would not pursue his goal to obtain $1.8 BILLION TAX-PAYER DOLLARS and pay people who attacked our Capitol, and people who promote and support right-wing racist, authoritarian, Trump agendas.
Any "agreement" these jello-spined Senators "agreed" to is a sham. Trump will do what wants. Now, I'm sure like the many, many, many other Republicans we've seen cave to Trump's orders they will say "we took the deal because it's good for our constituents. But, that usually involves deals that benefit their constituents at the cost of the rest of the country. Example: President Donald Trump and West Virginia Republican leaders announced a federal initiative committing roughly $700 million to $850 million tax dollars to boost coal-fired power and production, utilizing the Defense Production Act to fund upgrades for existing plants and build the first new U.S. coal plants in over a decade, including a facility in West Virginia. Yea, while the world's environment is being destroyed the constituents of West Virginia got a cave in deal. Goodie! Goodie!
There are hundreds of formerly convicted January 6 attackers who have filed claims against the U.S. government claiming "now that they have been pardoned (by Trump) they are entitled to compensation.
Fellow Americans, watch some video of the Jan 6 insurrection... tell me you think those violent "almost" murderous criminals should receive YOUR tax dollars???? If you think that we are facing a problem of foul ethics beyond any threat or war.
Trust me, Trump's "Save America Pay the Insurrectionists Act" will be passed in coming months in the middle of the night by other Republicans on their knees in the oval office.
Time and Time again, we have seen Republicans appear to stand up against Trump, just to see them bow down days later to his desires.
Nothing is more clear than seeing XXX and XXX, after stating they would reject Blanche last week, today posting welcoming messages to him.

During his Senate approval hearings Todd Blanche said what everyone knows outloud. Quote: "I'm the presidents personal attorney".
Those of who understand the vital necessity to have an INDEPENDENT JUSTICE SYSTEM see this as a final blow. Trump owns the Department of Justice. With the appointment of Blanche as U.S. Attorney General Trump will reign over law. Thus, creating a legal branch of government that has a sole purpose of appeasing, protecting and empowering himself. Trump will be able to continue to dismantle the checks and balances provided by our Constitution, he will be able to continue to reap profits from insider deals with military, civil and foreign entities, and he will have no oversight going forward regarding his PROVEN TRACK RECORD of ignoring and violating laws.
MAJOR IMPACTS OF BLANCHE'S APPOINTMENT.
1. Evidence contained in millions of documents being concealed in the Trump-Epstein sex scandal will now most likely never come to light.
2. Evidence of Trump's manipulation of government funding resulting in billions of tax-payer dollars transitioning into Trump's wealth will never come to light.
3. Evidence of Trump's past, present and future violations of law will never even be considered for investigation.
