Being Agnostic (aka "antagonostic") I feel it's fake to join in prayers when I attend religious functions. I totally get that we have to be good people, we have to have faith and we all feel better if we believe theirs a helping hand... But I'm a Naturalist- realist.

I look for realistic reasons and solutions for the things that occur "naturally".

You might catch me mouthing a little of the Lord's Prayer, embedded in me from by youth where I spent many a Sunday questioning why people spent so much time praying for "divine intervention" and didn't just make good happen?

But, seriously, can we be real for a moment? I can't even imagine how manipulative someone has to be to go on a campaign posing as a "Devoted follower of Christ" when the only God they have in their heart is the God of Greed and Pestilence for the poor.

I fear any "leader" who uses "thoughts and prayers" while destroying, separating, incarcerating, etc
