Commentary:

William Barr drank the Trump koolaid like a drunken sailor over these 4 years but for "some reason" decided to stop short of undermining the Constitution.'

He probably got tired of the looks he got when eating in one of his favorite restaurants. Tired of the snide comments from neighbors. Tired of the millions of tweets, posts and memes depicting him being a corrupt clown puppet.

There was nothing all that noble about Barr's refusing to support Trump's claims of election fraud BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WIDE-SPREAD ELECTION FRAUD!

This was a no-brainer. Trump was lying to try to start a revolution. As the Attorney General who is the country's "top law enforcer" it would be insane for Barr to give credence to Trump's farces.

But, the real truth is what has been happening in our top offices of "Law and Order" concerning the election are things that have been going on since Trump announced he was running for office. The only difference is the scale of Trump's corruptions has grown to a level putting out democracy, our Constitution and our freedoms in jeopardy.

Barr should have spoken up in 2016 during the impeachment of Donald Trump. Trump would have been ousted. Tens of thousands of people would have survived the Covid19 pandemic with someone with a brain in office.

Instead, Barr redacted, and delayed the day Trump would lose power.
