Commentary:

Republicans are losing this battle. Weak defense by weaker defense. They are so confident their clan of Republican Senators will not jump ranks and actually vote for Trump's impeachment based on LAW their questions amount to nothing more than a pathetic circus of falsehoods.

Trump extorted Ukraine. Lt. Col. Vindman and three other witnesses confirmed this today. Beyond doubt. Vindman testified along side Jennifer Williams, an adviser in Vice President Mike Pence's office. Both provided a clear timeline of Rudy Giuliani's many visits, memos, messages and calls to force Ukraine's new President Volodymyr Zelensky to start investigations into Joe Bidens involvement in Ukraine business affairs. Vindman threw many serious punches to Trump's "I was just trying to fight corruption" defense. Including his immediate consultations with legal representatives after a phone occured where Trump insisted Zelensky "Do his a favor". (This happened along with a quarter of a billion dollars in military aid being held... until that "favor" was done) A powerful exchange happened between Vindman and a Republican who suggested Trump's "favor" was really all it was. He said the President isn't a military officers so Vindman should have just disregarded that. A Democrat cut that statement to shreds saying what every person in the room, in our world knows. WHEN THE PRESIDENT OF THE MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY WITH THE MOST POWERFUL MILITARY ASKS SOMEONE TO DO SOMETHING THAT IS AN ORDER.

Republicans briefly tried to accuse Democrats of mis-directing witnesses calling Trump's blatant quid pro quo "Bribery" but Dem Chairman Adam Schiff cut that down immediately. He made it clear the wording of charges is the responsibility of the Congressional prosecutors. Witnesses may very well not have recognized Trump's actions as being bribery and extortion but as the evidence is proving both those terms now fit.

TRUMP EXTORTED UKRAINE AND DEMANDED BRIBERY (demanding anything of value in return for something)

Two Republican called witnesses, Former U.S. Diplomat Kurt Volker and N.S.C. Senior. Director Tim Morrison testified in the afternoon session. Both were predicted to be strong witnesses for Trump but both turned into supporting witnesses for impeachment!!! Both made it clear the link between Trumps withholding military aid to Ukraine and demands made for Ukraine to bolster Trumps chances of defeating Joe Biden

As far as the law goes, Trump is toast.
