Commentary:

Steve "Goebels" Bannon, the former White House chief strategist and Trump campaign CEO stressed that he was appearing under a subpoena, rather than voluntarily. “I have been compelled to testify,” he said.

[Yes, Steve, that's what happens when you're involved in crime syndicates]

But he proceeded to explain that, in 2016, Trump's long time buddy and confidant Roger Stone suggested to him several times “that he [Stone] had a relationship with WikiLeaks and it's founder Julian Assange.”

[Julian Assange started a website that people could use to expose secrets REGARDLESS OF WHAT DANGERS THAT WOULD RESULT IN and dirt on anyone REGARDLESS IF TRUE. Trump's hemisphere. Assange found himself outcast and had to hide in an embassy in London after releasing top secrets and names of under-cover spies... people who want to kill him, and know how!]

All this relates to the government investigations of Russian interference in the 2016 election. Part of that interference, special counsel Robert Mueller said in his report, was through Russians’ hacking of Democrats’ emails — and the provision of those emails to WikiLeaks, for publication.

[Simply put, Stone connected Trump with Russians who wanted to hurt Hillary Clinton's chances of becoming President. You can bet they didn't do this for the good of the American people... This is basically high treason... or as we've come to know as "C-O-L-L-U-S-I-O-N"]

Both Mueller and congressional investigators attempted to get to the bottom of what happened with the hack-and-leak, and whether any Trump advisers were involved.

As part of that (Mueller's investigation), they scrutinized Roger Stone — and now he’s on trial facing charges of obstruction and lying to the House Intelligence Committee on the topic of WikiLeaks
