Adam Schiff, Democratic chair of the House Intelligence Committee masterfully exposed a bold face liar in Trump's administration.
Here's what happened. Explained using a Football analogy.
Adam (The football coach) knew the opposing team (The Washington "Bullionaires") had a lineup of bulls***ers. Players that live to tackle, foul and cheat their way to win after win. (you know, rich scum bags)
So he had our team (The American "Good Guys") throw a play. When the first ball of the game was snapped they basically let the other team blast down the field.
Schiff knew a secret. The "Bullionaires" were suffering from a severe case of "Trump blindness". He knew they would see our team the "good guys" not opposing them and think they could do anything... with the right coaxing they would even run THE WRONG WAY ON THE FIELD!!!
Boom, score... oops! Wrong direction.
Schiff put the person he knew would be most loyal to Trump, the most blind player up to the line of scrimmage first. Gordon Sondland is a wealthy Trump donor who paid his way into Trump's inner circle. Sondland, like others, Pompeo, Flynn, Spicer, Pence, Conway, etc etc were so hell bent on being part of Trump's takeover of the American government they all were willing to pay the price.
They paid with cash and their reputations.
In front of the House Inquiry Sondland answered questions of Trump's shakedown of Ukraine as if scripted. Including the most vital: (paraphrased)
"did you witness any example of Trump demanding quid pro quo" [Demanding Ukraine open bogus investigations in return for military aid]
"No, never, he's a Prince... what a guy!"
Schiff then called witnesses he knew would stand on their principles. William Taylor, the acting Ambassador to Ukraine and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the National security Council official in charge of Ukraine policy. Both gave unquestionable testimonies contradicting Sondland's steaming pile of Trump endorsed lies.
Sondland was facing serious charges of Congressional perjury until yesterday. He made the very smart move of revising his testimony in the early minutes of the game. Schiff let him do a takeover.
Sondland basically said "oops I lied, forgive me, hearing others I now do recall Trump committing crimes against the Constitution... here's the truth"
Isn't it wonderful how believable testimony from credible witnesses can impact LIARS!!!
Sondland has now refuted the entire Republican party's go to defense for Trump that there was no demand made in return for U.S. military funds to Ukraine.
Their blind ignorant justification that Trump's actions were "ok doky" DEAD. DOA
And, let's be real here. Trump withheld military funds from a country faced with being invaded by RUSSIA. Lives were at stake, and the ongoing assault by Putin to take over Europe, and elsewhere. More than half the military funds were paid by American tax payer who DETEST TRUMP. That's why laws are in place to make this a Constitutional crime. Trump used funds paid by people who HATE HIM to help get him re-elected... Tell me the "Bullhead Bullionaires" wouldn't be whining like sissies if a Democratic President had done this!
No marching down to the inquiry meeting this week by bull-head Republicans. No, the chance of bullying witnesses is long gone now. From this time on every Republican will be deemed a co-conspirator to Trump's coverups. Sondland is the poster boy for REPUBLICAN LIARS.
