This past weekend I heard someone talking about a coworker who was pro-Trump. One of the reasons for her supporting him was because "Trump will protect our freedoms of speech".
I almost spit my Liberal Ice Tea across the room!

The man who relentlessly shakes his fingers at the professional camera men and women and the journalists in the audiences at his rallies and calls them "dishonest" "fake" "criminals who should be locked up" along with his political opponents." basically egging his crowd on to attack those INNOCENT PEOPLE!… Text book Nazi-1984 oppression of "freedoms of speech".
Trump, who has condemned and threatened to "shut down" news media entities including PBS and NPR… Networks controlled by "the people" for "the people"!
The man who his entire life has threatened, belittled, and verbally assaulted ANYONE who spoke against him!!
Trump, is the nemesis of "freedoms of speech".
A President who would "protect our freedoms of speech" would allow people to speak, then provide his/her opinion leaving the people free to decide who's telling the truth. Not attack them!
Alexey Navalny is the most vocal opponent to Vladimir Putin. Three years ago Navalny ran for Russia's presidency against Putin who won in a cloud of conspiracy, false narratives and corruption.
While traveling on a Russian airplane Navalny felt his body "shut down". He began to feel his death. He was crying out in agony and after an emergency landing was placed in a coma in a hospital under the watchful eye of Putins military. Navalny's Wife mounted an international movement to condemn the attempted assassination of her husband, father of two. Navalny rightfully concluded he was held in this coma for just as long as Putin thought necessary to eliminate traces of the poison in his body.
After 48 hours, the Russian government "allowed him" to be flown by air ambulance to a hospital in Berlin known for its experience with victims of poison attacks.
Brilliantly, Navalny had a team of investigators in Siberia search his hotel room for evidence. They found a bottle of water with traces one of the most deadly nerve agents created by the Russian military, Novichok. This invisible weapon is ten times more potent than sarin gas. Labs in France and Sweden corroborated the finding: there's no doubt it was military-grade Novichok.
Navalny is one of many people who either became extremely ill, or died, or conducted questionable "suicides" or were gunned down in MURDERS THAT WERE NOT FULLY INVESTIGATED BY PUTIN/RUSSIA. The European Aliance has condemned Vladimir Putin who (surprise!) denies having anything to do with these crimes of oppression. Donald Trump (surprise!) refuses to condemn Putin and says "it hasn't been investigated".
THIS ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT LIKE THE MURDER OF JOURNALIST JAMAL KHASHOGGI BY SAUDI ARABIAN CROWN PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN WILL NEVER BE FULLY TRUTHFULLY INVESTIGATED.
Trump's allowing Putin to conduct his Dictatorship in this manner all feeds in to Trump's own plans to dictate our lives here in the USA.
Putin, has not always been this ruthless. Putin started out just having people fired… attacked in media posts… Then his acts of vengeance became more severe. Opponents including Navalny were beaten, jailed, publicly shamed… it's just in the past few years the world has seen people in opposition to Putin being murdered. AND DONALD TRUMP IS ALLOWING HIM TO GET WORSE!!!!
