Democracy is based on BALANCE. And that is gone.

With a majority 6 seat stranglehold on our Supreme Court, the third equal branch of our government there will be no balance FOR DECADES!!!

Mitch McConnell made a statement 75 minutes after the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg saying "there will be a vote on the senate floor". We all know that vote in a Republican majority Senate will not really be a vote at all.

Sure a couple Republican Senators have come forward in the past few days saying it will be wrong for a President to pick a Supreme Court Judge in his last year... But, as we have painfully experienced over these past four years what Republican Senators say and what Republican Senators are two different things.

Case in point: During the final 6 months of President Barrack Obama's administration after the death of Justice Antonin Scalia who died during a hunting trip Obama rightfully, legally, nominated Judge Merrick B. Garland to fill Scalia's seat. Like most all of Obama's rightful, legal proposals the Republicans who held the majority of the Senate sabotaged the process and denied hearing Merrick's appointment review before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Republicans made the argument Obama "should not have the right to appoint a Supreme Court Judge within the last year of his presidency. That statement was voted on SIX MONTHS before the 2016 election. NOW THE REPUBLICANS ARE RAMMING THROUGH A RIGHT-WING CONSERVATIVE JUDGE CONTRARY TO THE LIBERAL TIDE IN THE AMERICAN POPULOUS WITHIN 45 DAYS OF TRUMP'S IMMINENT DISMISSAL!

Capturing the Supreme Court will be the equivalent of the Republicans winning the Triple Crown. They will command all three branches of our government. This is a tragic event for the majority of Americans who have been hornswaggled by these rich king makers.

Nov 3rd, 2020 will either be then end of the American Democracy or a reseizure of the will of the people.

A lot of people think the time for being civil and impartial has left the paddock concerning Trump's future... They're saying: "Break a leg Trump!"

I'll stay civil and say... I hope he slips in the mud.
