Lately Trump has been saying Democrats "want a recession, they want me to fail, they want to see the Country go down in shame".

Not at all, Mr. Trump. We want to see a criminal who is a mastermind of deception, who has fooled good people, harmed the planet... etc etc etc held accountable for his crimes.

Nadler tried to clear up any misconceptions Thursday as the committee approved guidelines for impeachment hearings on President Donald Trump . Some of Nadler’s fellow Democrats — including House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer — have stumbled over how to explain what they’re doing.
