When you combine alcohol, boats, political flags and macho-egotists you have all the makings for a nautical disaster.

Your typical sport boater thinks all they need is a credit line and the keys to a boat to hit the water and "open her up". But, boating can be dangerous! The U.S. Coast Guard offers a fantastic course for boat owners to learn the tricks to survive the "joys" of boating. Very few people take advantage of that. When we took our C.G. course for our boat we learned so many things you would never think about being dangerous. Like, at the time the number one cause of death on water was males falling overboard while "relieving themselves". Made us thankful we have a nice enclosed head.

There are no other sport-hobbies that attract as many Type "A" personalities as boating. Where we moored our boat we were surrounded by multi-million dollar yachts. Someone would pull up in a 40 footer and then next guy would pull up in a yacht the size of a football stadium. Some ego's surpassed their hull lengths!

There are some very important facts of physics every boater should keep in mind when boating on crowded waters: "Tonnage" def: the size or carrying capacity of a ship measured in tons - Is a measurement to the size of the hull of a vessel. Tonnage can kill. "Stimulants" def: a substance that raises levels of physiological or nervous activity in the body. Alcohol is a common stimulant found in the blood streams of boaters. "egomaniac" Someone concerned only with oneself: egocentric, egoistic, egoistical, egotistic, egotistical, self-absorbed, self-centered, self-involved, selfish, self-seeking, self-serving. Idiom: wrapped up in oneself - aka typical Trump supporter.

When you are in a 17 foot ski boat, affixed with with 8 foot flag poles, ego-bolstering banners, waiving flags, piloted by someone who's had several "stimulants" and you are cruising within 10 feet of ocean worthy 38 foot luxury yachts that are creating 8 foot wakes because they have TWENTY TIMES THE "TONNAGE"... You're 17 footer turns into a dingy in a hurricane!

Reports say as many as 10 small boats top heavy with Trump paraphernalia were overtaken by waters generated by larger cruisers traveling at unsafe speeds given their close proximity. Nobody died. Just a few boats destroyed and bruised egos. But, I think this is a perfect parallel story to what's happening in the Republican party right now. Some of the big cruisers, McConnell, Gaetz, Jordan are bulldozing their way through the halls in our State Capital and pushing their political "wakes" into the smaller fish Republicans. The "party-loyals" are telling them to ignore Trump's foul ethics, crimes... and demanding them to support Trump in this 2020 election that is showing potential of being the largest Republican naval disaster in history.

Trump is sinking. And Republicans across the country up for reelection are going down with the ship. Bloop, Bloop, Bloop.

Trump's lies, "fake news" and criminal investigations are turning into a gigantic sink hole in the middle the ocean.

Shame on Republicans for supporting a criminal in the first place. Vote BLUE!
