Aside from all Trump's grotesque actions, insults, game playing and outright pathological lies we must credit Trump with one redeeming quality. Trump has played this brutal game of deception masterfully.
Firing James Comey was the first move on Trump's Washington D.C. chess board... Jumping the opponents Knight in his first days in office was BRILLIANT!
Replacing Comey with possibly the most corrupt person available... to head our justice system ... BRILLIANT! William "Where's my meatball sandwich" Barr pretty much castrated the United States Federal "Justice" Department.
Barr's sabotaging the investigation into Trump 2016 campaign collusions with Russia... Brilliant. Barr's redaction of the Mueller Report... Brilliant.
Then over these past three and a half long Constituional-law-crushing years Trump made additional brilliant moves... firing the investigators who were assigned to INVESTIGATE HIS CRIMINAL PAST! Brilliant.
Then, a few months ago Trump (well technically Barr) fired several top investigators in the New York Southern District Prosecutors office. That was a head turner for sure. That office is the "independents" of the "independents" in our entire legal system. The NYSD was throughout modern history impenetrable by mobs, politicians, thugs, and we thought... a foul president.
I have to admit, I pretty much thought it was game over. I anticipated Trump spending the rest of his term delaying any flailing legal proceedings involving his decades of tax evasion, insurance frauds, sexual assaults, laundering Russian mob monies, and who knows what else?... and then of course I loathed the idea of watching Trump spending the rest of his dismal life boasting about being "innocent" and how he "proved all those witch hunts were fake news'. While we all know the truths.
Word is Deutsche has put at least 2 BILLION DOLLARS in Trump's hands. How he ended up in 6 or 7 bankruptcies after that amount of cash infusion ???... well, that is another study in ineptitude.
Trump had a plan. Like a Nascar race... Trump knew that statue-of-limitations would expire by the time a new President was in power, and Barr and all the Trump justice pawns were 86'd.
But as for the initial moves made by Trump... I must say... Touche... Mr. Trump. Your rapier wit delivered a fatal blow to ANY chance of you being prosecuted by the Feds... Touche !!!
But, damn those justice driven Forefathers, the writers of our Constitution... the founders of our liberties... our legalities... they had backup plans in place... and because of this... Mr. Trump...

New York State Prosecutors are not under the jurisdiction of our Federal Government. They do not have to adhere to rules manipulated by Trump and William Barr... and THE NEW YORK STATE PROSECUTORS DO NOT HAVE TO FORFEIT LEGAL PROCEEDINGS THAT INVOLVE A SITTING PRESIDENT!
Nobody knows the contents of the "mountain of evidence" delivered by Deutsche Bank to NY. And of course all persons are deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law... but speculations are all over the scale about legacy of Donald J.
