If there was a clause in the United States Code of Ethics governing the behavior of Presidents Donald Trump would have been Impeached and sent to a corner in 2017.

Again, this week people witnessed Trump's childish tantrums in the White House. What was it this time? Did someone take away little Don Don's Ninny Bottle? Maybe somebody snitched and leaked his corrupt bank transactions?

No, this was far more serious. Donald Trump became spitting mad at U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's assessment that damage to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was the result of shoddy construction and not the work of vandals, as he claimed.

Pirro's office dropped criminal charges against a former Olympian, David Hearn, who had been accused of deliberately damaging the pool. Of course in true Trump fashion he got on camera and told the nation this guy on a bike "vandalized the pool". Like he accused people of cheating in the 2020 election, Trump gave absolute no proof of the crime and basically put Hearn in a position of adverse and possibly dangerous public scrutiny.

Trump's real good at flying off the cuff and accusing people of things. He based his entire presidential campaigns on accusing people who have not obtained legal citizenship of being "murderers, criminals and rapists". Facts disprove this and actually it's proven most serious crimes are committed by... wait for it...

Male U.S. citizens.

That's right MAGA-hatters... he played you. Comprehensive criminological studies and official data show that undocumented immigrants are arrested and incarcerated for violent and property crimes at significantly lower rates than native-born U.S. citizens.

Men commit roughly 80% to 90% of all violent crimes. Young adults between the ages of 15 and 29 are arrested at much higher rates than older age groups. Crime rates are significantly higher in impoverished areas. You know, the poor and working class poor that Trump is increasingly MAKING MORE POOR!!!

Here's the truth about Trump's precious "Deflection Pool", formerly the "Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool"; (It's officially referred to as the "Deflection Pool" because it's just another attempt by Trump to get people's minds off THE TRUMP-EPSTEIN SEX SCANDAL!)

The 2,028 foot long pool is a showpiece in the center of our Capitol. It's located on the National Mall in Washington directly between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Because the pool was in need of repairs Trump hired one of his top campaign donors John J. Cafaro, a neighbor of his in Florida to do the repairs. Trump made a big deal over this repair. You would have thought he was saving the planet. For sure, Trump probably thought by bringing the pool back to glory ahead of the nation's 250th birthday celebration he would finally win the Nobel Peace Prize. People who start wars always think they can make up for the deaths and destruction in some paltry way.

After the months long $16 BILLION DOLLAR renovation to the pool it immediately began to deteriorate. Instead of using an industrial strength lining on the walls and sides of the pool Trump and Cafaro apparently thought they could save tax-payer's money by just painting it. That's right, these knuckleheads obviously know as much about water damage as they know about providing public service.

Anyone who's had a pool or even a little pond in their yard knows that no type of paint will last under water. The paint on the pool peeled due to a botched, rushed installation and application flaws by the contractor.

The pool also suffered from a fowl smelling green algae bloom that made the pool look like a Louisianna swamp. Ironic, because another Trump campaign chant was he would "drain the swamp". Haha.

Investigations and waterproofing experts revealed that delamination happened along the material's application seams and expansion joints. It was reported several people who visited the "Deflection pool" during this time grabbed a piece of the detached paint as a souvenir. Trump turned that into a motivating MAGA movement to find and prosecute an innocent person.

Glad SOMEONE in the DOJ refused this idiotic order.
