Hey if you're playing against a well oiled team of sand lot bullies you have to expect pitches in the mud.

I have to give Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates credit for her endurance during the hours of grueling insinuations. Heck, just having to stare Rep Lindsey Graham in the eye as he sniped accusations of "favoritism" and "targeting" with that boyish Tiny Tim smile would have made me laugh out loud!

"favoritism" and "targeting" is all we've seen from the Republicans, and our justice system led by the most corrupt Attorney General, on the behalf of the most corrupt president in U.S. history.

"favoritism" and "targeting" was evidenced in the first months of Trump's term as he fired anyone who promised to investigate his crimes.

And Rep. Ted Cruz... Wow, dude... I hope he squeezes that nappy beard every night... cause I'm pretty sure I saw road-kill tracings dripping from his chin while he lectured Sally Yates about "honor", "impartiality"... All the Republicans need to spend a little more time studying our laws, not bending them. Today the Logan Act came up several times: The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that criminalizes negotiation by unauthorized American citizens with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. Trump shredded this law. Unless you believe Russian representatives came to New York City, met with Trump's campaign team in Trump tower to "talk about Russian orphans"... if anyone believes that what good is having ANY laws?!!

This entire hearing was basically Republicans trying to find a justification for Michael Flynn -- who "negotiated with unauthorized American citizens with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States" -- to be released from his convictions for lying to congress. And, for Trump to be vindicated for crimes he has been accused of that were sighted in the Mueller Report.

You know the Mueller Report, that 500 plus page report about a TWO YEAR investigation conducted to dissect Trump's crimes THE REPORT THE AMERICAN PUBLIC WAS DENIED THE RIGHT TO SEE !!!

That's really the heart of this weak attempt to sow doubt in gullible minds. Tell the people "you think the FBI made up Trump's Russian collusions"... and many will believe it.

Let's hope more people are smarter than in 2016 this time.

Yates calmly provided justifications for every move the FBI made to investigate the 2016 election. She clearly stated, time after time as almost every Republican asked the same drone questions:

Yate's comments paraphrased: "THIS WAS OUR DUTY. THE FBI HAD THE OBLIGATION TO INVESTIGATE A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION THAT WAS SUSPECTED TO HAVE BEEN INFLUENCED BY A FOREIGN ADVERSARY. THE FBI FOUND CREDIBLE EVIDENCE RUSSIAN PURPOSELY AIDED DONALD TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN, HIS STAFF PROMISED AND ACTED TO REDUCE SANCTIONS AND PENALTIES IMPOSED AGAINST RUSSIA, AND DONALD TRUMP, HIS FAMILY MEMBERS AND CAMPAIGN STAFF COLLUDED WITH FOREIGN ENTITIES TO SMEAR TRUMPS OPPONENT".

and yet, Trump supporters say he's all about "America first".

Russia's payoffs, benefits, it's increased powers, it's expanded territories in Europe and the Middle East all point to Donald Trump aiding and abetting an evil murderous foreign power. Trump is, and has been all along "Russia first"

It will all come to light in the coming years.

Graham, Cruz and all these Republicans will be shamed for protecting the "Russia first" criminal in our presidential office.
