Everybody's playing the new D.C. board game "Where in the World is Mitch McConnell".
It's like Monopoly with billions of Taxpayer's dollars, dead bodies, redacted evidence and missing people. Al Capone would have loved this!
Senator Mitch McConnell is not actually missing; rather, fraudulent "missing person" posters were placed around Washington, D.C., by a political group to mock his prolonged absence from Congress. The 84-year-old Republican lawmaker has been recovering away from the Capitol following a mid-June hospitalization after "a fall".
The U.S. Senate has no constitutional or legal obligation to replace Senator Mitch McConnell while he remains in office. Under Article I of the Constitution, a Senate seat only becomes vacant upon a member's death, resignation, or expulsion, and the Senate itself cannot unilaterally remove a living member without a rare two-thirds expulsion vote.
Senator Mitch McConnell’s public “lapse” episodes refer to two distinct incidents in the summer of 2023 when he unexpectedly froze and became unresponsive mid-sentence during press conferences.
McConnell, the representative of one of, if not the most impoverished states has become fabulously wealthy during his almost three decade term. How did he do that?
Let's ask A.I. "did Mitch McConnell stack the supreme court" A move that would do nothing but provide unbridled power to the wealthy.
Response: "Mitch McConnell systematically reshaped the Supreme Court and federal judiciary through hardball procedural tactics. Critics call this "court packing," while supporters say he used constitutional Senate powers to install conservative judges."
How did McConnell stack the Supreme Court? "McConnell refused to hold hearings or a vote for President Barack Obama's nominee, Merrick Garland, arguing an election year meant the seat should wait." At McConnell's helm, Senate Republicans lowered the confirmation threshold for Supreme Court nominees from 60 votes to a simple majority to clear Trump appointee Neil Gorsuch. McConnell rushed Trump appointee Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation weeks before the 2020 presidential election, reversing his prior election-year logic... Simply put he CHEATED OBAMA OUT OF JUDGE'S APPOINTMENT AND TURNED AROUND AND VIOLATED HIS REASONS TO DO SO!
Cudos Mitchy!!!
Hope you're going to be able to see the effects of a conservative, 1950's ethic Supreme Court of the land imposing their pseudo-religious laws upon our LIBERAL nation.
Last heard "Make'em rich" McConnell is worth about $27,000,000... not bad for someone on a meager Senate salary (actually mathmatically impossible without some "extra" source of cash)
When you consider the organized efforts of the ultra-right "Project 2025" whackos, who's motives were to dismantle our democratic republic and replace it with an authortarian dictatorship it's safe to say MITCH MCCONNELL WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN DESTROYING THE 250 YEAR DEMOCRACY OUR COUNTRY WAS.
Recently, several possible A.I. generated photos have been shared by Trump and right-wing media depicting McConnell with a big smile on his face, in a hospital bed, accompanied by his Wife. But, the public is demanding “Proof of Life” or his Replacement.
The criteria for such a move to oust McConnell relates to the question: "Is McConnell fit mentally and phsically to satisfy his duties in Congress?". But, at this point, in Trump's second term does anyone have to be mentally fit to do what we've seen Republicans do regarding supporting Trump, defending the Constitution, voting for initiatives that enrich the wealthy, robbing for all other Americans???
Seriously, as long as McConnell or any Republican can point to a "YES" button that would be enough to continue empowering Trump as a dictator. Anyone could be on life support, heavily medicated, druling and messing up their bed sheets and do what Trump demands.... Unquestioning "YES" votes for his corruption.
I wish McConnell a speedy recovery from whatever ailment he is suffering.
More than that I wish McConnell and any Republican a speedy recovery from being labelled a "Trump butt kisser". As of yet, there is no remedy for that.
