Commentary:

Senator Lindsey Graham represented South Carolina in the U.S. Senate from 2003 until his death on July 11, 2026. Graham served as an active-duty lawyer in the U.S. Air Force from 1982 to 1988

He was a fierce outspoken and brutally honest critic of Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign. Graham described Trump as a "race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot" He called him a "jackass" and a "kook". Graham spoke out load what millions of people were thinking.

Immediately after the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol, an emotional Graham declared, "All I can say is, count me out. Enough is enough". He warned Republicans that Trump would "destroy" their party. Graham was one of a very few Republicans who had the courage to stand up to Trump.

until.

Something happened to Lindsey Graham after Trump's election to his second term. We can speculate he came to the realization that although Trump had so much support from a minority of Americans he won and people had to face the fact nobody"beat 'em" so he had to "join 'em".

AI response to "Did Senator Lindsey Graham turn face and supported Trump?": "Senator Lindsey Graham's dramatic evolution from an outspoken critic of Donald Trump to one of his most fiercely loyal allies represents one of the most famous political "about-faces" in recent American history."

The morning after Graham's death, early reported to have been caused by a heart condition, Trump publicly said during a live phone call to Meet the Press that while they were like family, he could only score Graham a "99.9 instead of 100" for loyalty due to their rift over January 6".

Cut to that Scene in the Godfather and many other mob-family movies... how does the boss, aka "The Don" express his sadness when someone dies? "He was family". It didn't matter if the person riddled with bullets, or sifted from a lake, or charred in a car bomb explosion was actually "family"... it's just an expression... usually expressed by the person who ordered the "hit".

Was Graham's death a "hit" we will probably never know. But, even though Graham .transformed from being critical of Trump into a loyal ally, there could be facts that point to "someone" wanting him gone.

PUTIN: Lindsey Graham was instrumental in convincing American lawmakers into supporting Ukraine during the Russian aggression with funding, weapons and political powers. Just prior to his death Graham influenced NATO countries to supply Ukraine with superior missile defense systems, additional resources for the Ukrainian military and most notable modern fourth-generation fighter jets, such as F-16s.

FACTS: F-16s are superior to Russian jets having advanced electronics, missile range coordination, and the most advanced electronic warfare. Russia’s modern jets—like the Su-35 or Su-57—generally have faster top speeds and better close-range agility but if implemented properly Russia's "baby bombers" would be downed long before they enter Ukraine's secured air space.

Putin has probably woken up in the middle of the night screaming "eye!!" "eye!!!" "eye!!!!" His entire attack plan was based on flying his death machines over populated cities in Ukraine and bestowing (terror into the minds of Ukrainians so they would surrender to his "greatness".

Trump's beer guzzling cross-eyed lack of experience head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Kash Patel said today, "The FBI is assisting local authorities and has made every local resource available" regarding investigating Lindsey Graham's death. Most people question why this would be necessary for someone who dies due to a "heart condition".

Putin is well known to have people who threaten his authoritarian rule die for "questionable" reasons. Trump is well known to cower to Putin. There's no doubt Putin could murder a powerful outspoken, influential, American politician with little consequence.
