The Tulsa race massacre (also called the Tulsa race riot, the Greenwood Massacre, or the Black Wall Street Massacre) of 1921[9][10][11][12][13][14] took place on May 31 and June 1, 1921, when mobs of white residents attacked black residents and businesses of the Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma.[1] It has been called "the single worst incident of racial violence in American history."[15] The attack, carried out on the ground and from private aircraft, destroyed more than 35 square blocks of the district—at that time the wealthiest black community in the United States, known as "Black Wall Street".
More than 800 people were admitted to hospitals and as many as 6,000 black residents were interned at large facilities, many for several days.[16][17] The Oklahoma Bureau of Vital Statistics officially recorded 36 dead, but the American Red Cross declined to provide an estimate.
Today, Trump finally conceded to the overpowering messages being screamed in the streets, in the masses, in his office. He's decided to not hold his rally on the 19th of June in respect for the Juneteenth commemoration of one of the most terrible acts of racism our country has ever seen.
So Trump, "ya think!".
Gees. This while demonstrations against racism and oppression still go on around our country and around the world.
And just yesterday Trump poorly answered canned questions from a canned Fox African American Reporter. He supports Police choking prisoners, as we have just witnessed George Floyd's death from a choke hold. He still thinks he's created jobs, even though economic reports released this past week have been proven to be inaccurate and specifically noted minorities are severely impacted from this crashed economy. And, he tried to compare himself to Abe Lincoln. Even the "money loyal" Fox Reporter had to call him on that. "Yes, well we are free".
On top of that Trump went on to try claim to he has done "more for Black Americans than any President.".. and his MAGA supporters "love the Blacks". There really is no need to respond to those moronic statements but for the record Trump has cut hundreds of public aid programs, directly hurting mostly immigrants, minority groups, etc. And even his "justice reform" initiatives are proving to target people in those groups. His administration just all foul no matter how he spins his actions.
But, all this is just not scummy enough for Trump. His campaign has released a legal waiver releasing Trump from any liability in the event people who attend his rally contract CoV19. That's right, the lamest president, who ignored warning signs of CoV19, who dismissed experts pleading with him to act to protect our country, who said CoV19 was a "hoax", would "disappear in April", who is demanding people in his midst, at his upcoming Republican Convention TO NOT WEAR MASKS!!! , who 46 days ago suggested people drink BLEACH!!! and who has not had one Covid Press conference since that statement is so sure CoV19 "doesn't exist" he's requiring attendees at his racist rally to give up their right to sue him WHEN they get gravely ill... and die.
People that is beyond disgusting. Even for Trump.
That is sending people into harms way with his words of ignorance. Then, telling his people if they die, he skates free".
Trump increased the height of the security fences around the White House last week because he had to hide in the White House bunker. There will be no hiding from the level of anger Trump continues to mount with actions and statements like we continue to see.
Trump may have changed the date of his Tulsa rally, but he's still in the 1900's mentally.
