Public opposition and strong negative sentiments toward Donald Trump stem from a combination of his unconventional political style, specific policy decisions, long-standing legal controversies, and current public dissatisfaction with the state of the nation. His use of blunt, insulting, and derogatory language against political opponents, minority groups, and the media. His personality described by many Americans to be "arrogant," "reckless," and “dishonest" and his continued questionable conduct undermine the traditional dignity and behavioral expectations of the presidency. Another major cause of negative sentiment toward Trump is increasing public frustration over rising inflation, high energy prices, and the negative impacts from the faltering economy caused directly by Trump’s Trade policies while at the same time enriching himself, his family, and his associates, with the use of digital ”bitcon” funds,insider trading, and hand-shake deals with contractors. Additionally, Trump’s pardons of criminals, some who contributed to his wealth and his promises to pay the insurrectionists who attacked our Capitol millions! Also, his lack of international diplomacy, his “me first” leadership decisions which have resulted in escalated tensions in the Middle East, and among several ally countries worldwide have heavily damaged our countries standings and have resulted in his plummeting approval ratings among voters, even those who feel they were fooled by his false statements, unfulfilled promises, his deceitful religious faith and outright lies during his presidential campaigns. Finally, the fact he is mentioned more than 38 thousand times in the Epstein sex scandal legal investigation, and in his manipulation of the Department of Justice, judicial and other organizations to attempt to suppress the disclosure of documents which could reveal his guilt is not sitting well with people with moral principles.
