This press conference was called for 2pm EST, and around 2:15 Trump was on his toilet (we presume) tweeting nonsense about nothings.

When he did finally show around 2:40pm he spent a lavish 5 minutes boasting about "protecting our investors patents" and going after China for backing out of the Hong Kong agreement to let HK become a fully independent nation state.

Not one word about CoronaVirus that is starting to infect more people again now that TRUMP called for the country to reopen before a vaccine or effective treatment.

Not one word of condolence, whisper of faith, inspiration to help our nation deal with the reality of seeing more than ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PEOPLE DIE IN THE PAST MONTHS from his blunderous failed pandemic response.

NO, this idiot goes on until 2:49pm about "being tough on China".

HOLY S**T. Literally "what does all this have to do with the tea in China?"

Over the past weeks we've seen presidential candidate Joe Biden step up and say what a president should say. Two hours before Trumps "we're sickin' it to China" speech Biden made an intelligent, heart-felt and compassionate statement for the country to hear. Words of wisdom about the injustices in our police forces, how we must work to unite, to continue to eliminate racial inequality. And he spoke to the pain and anger people all over the country feel regarding George Floyd's death. And, others.

It was great to see a preview of how our country will be led starting in November of this year when we finally get to vote out this "Chyna-freak" Trump.

Oh, and just for the record if you hear anyone who thinks Trump has actually done something positive for investors who "are being ripped off by China" do a web search for "inventions the United States has stolen from other countries".

You'll find out our corporations have been dishonest for generations. Trump isn't "protecting investors" he's paying the billionaires back for supporting his election. You know, those people who have received hundreds of billions in tax stimulus funds for CoronaVirus effects that DON'T EVEN PAY TAXES!

I only wish we had successfully ousted him in the fall of 2019., and his bobblehead v.p., and those numb-skull Republican senators and House Reps who must now share the blame for where our country has fallen. If our Constitutional powers to impeach Trump had been allowed to prevail the rise of CoronaVirus would have been met by smarter people in power.
