I thought I'd write a post that Republicans would pay attention to. Of course I'm referring to the ominous legal charges brought by Trump's DOJ last month against former Attorney General James Comey accusing him of (let me quote this exactly as stated) "threatening and transmitting a threat to President Donald Trump".
Comey shared on his social media timeline an image of the numbers "86 47" someone displayed using sea shells on a beach... OH MY FRIGGIN' GAAD!!!!
That's serious.... that's putting it in clear terms Comey wanted to assassinate the most dangerous, foul-mouthed, insane, ignorant, person who is literally making decisions THAT RESULT IN DEATHS! right?!! WRONG!!!
Trump posts more slanderous, disgusting statements on his social media in one evening that most people do in their lifetimes! They're borderline blatant orders for his followers TO ACTUALLY KILL PEOPLE!!!
In this post I've included an interesting article from the Atlantic about Trump's tweet s**t storm of threats, condemnations, etc. This isn't the "kettle calling the pot black", this is the entire kitchen calling a spoon "dangerous".
Trump is using the loyalties of people he has put in our justice department to pursue vengeance against people who brought HIS ACTUAL CRIMES to court. HE is the one who is using the powers of our presidency to threaten.
Trump's prosecutors interpret the term "86 47" as a threat to harm the 47th president... Let's do a shallow dive into the statement:
FACTS: The slang term "86" (often used as a verb: "to 86") means to get rid of, reject, or throw out something or someone.
USAGES: A. If a kitchen runs out of a specific ingredient or dish, they will "86" it to tell the staff to stop taking orders for it.
B. If a customer is causing trouble or is too intoxicated, a bartender or manager will "86" them by kicking them out.
C. It is commonly used to abandon an idea, project, or plan.
D. It's widely used by the general public, protestors, and politicians as slang to get rid of, cancel, or impeach someone. It's a good guess as many people used "86" for Donald Trump as Joe Biden.
HYPOCRITICAL REFERENCE:
1. Jack Posobiec: The conservative activist and political influencer posted "86 46" on X in 2022 to call for the ousting of then-President Joe Biden.
2. Matt Gaetz: The former U.S. Representative frequently used the term to describe ousted politicians, tweeting in 2024 that several prominent Republican figures had been "86'd" from their leadership positions.
Do don't see anything in these definitions as a "threat". But, if you consider the mind of a psychopath, someone who is responsible for killing ANYTHING must appear to be a threat. Trump is a crime boss... if you say he should "sleep with the fish"... well... you better clarify you meant it as a joke!
The case against James Comey is a joke. And when you consider what Trump us trying to do now, give $1.8 BILLION tax-payer dollars to people that didn't just threaten our leaders, they attacked and assaulted them you have to admit something if very wrong with the Republican double standards.
Someone saying "86" someone being prosecuted by someone who said "A whole civilization will die tonight is truly DIS-GUS-TING!!!
