Trump is following in the blood-steps of some of the most self-adoring egomaniacs who were surrounded by adoring people, but live in extreme isolation. He's backed into a corner, the lowest ratings of any president in history and with the Trump-Epstein scandal evidence close to being fully revealed it's possible Trump is in a mental "Thelma and Louise" cliff dive.

Of course he wants statues, and arches, and ball rooms. Stalin, Hitler, Gaddafi, all had trinkets to wear to their graves. Truth is all these artifacts will most likely be abandoned, vandalized and destroyed. Some will end up in private collections, in cluttered garages, some maybe sold on eBay.

History will reveal if Trump's reign will be cast in gold, or cast away in cardboard boxes. As for this golden glob of greed... reminds me of the Bob's Big Boy statues we laughed at in front of diners.
