History repeats.

During the horrors of Nazi "ethic cleansing" many people died who attempted to tell the world. If someone approached a Nazi death camp with a camera they would meet their fate. Even after news spread across the world of mass murders and hundreds of thousands of people imprisoned it too years for the world to react. German concentration camps existed for more than 8 years before the United States officially entered World War II on December 8, 1941.

Hitler's first camp was first, Dachau, located in southern Germany, approximately 10 miles (16 km) northwest of Munich. Hitler ordered his murderous "Immigration and Customs Enforcement" to convert a deserted munitions factory initially to imprison political opponents. The Dachau Memorial Site archive has documented over 32,000 deaths and the total is regarded to be much higher due to undocumented deaths, particularly during the final months of the war.

Hitlers murderers were out of control. Hitler's murderers were NOT controlled. Hitler granted them secrecy, opportunity and "Immunität" (Immunity)

This past week Trump has ordered his loyal Republicans to abolish oversight concerning ICE detention centers. People who know history know this is the next step a dictator must take to gain power over citizens. He must have a means for his "ICE" officers, to murder and commit atrocities. They must be unbridled and above humanitarian laws to do the dictator's dirty deeds.

But what possesses a person to kill on order? How does someone shut off their common sense and concern for a fellow human to such a level of aggression?

Starting in 2025 Trump's U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) began running an aggressive, $100 million "wartime" recruitment campaign to hire 10,000 new officers for intensified deportation efforts. Ads target law enforcement and military personnel with up to $50,000 signon bonuses and six-figure salaries. They also offered young people student loans in return for their loyalty.

When ICE combined impressive earnings with racist hatred they had no problem finding people willing to commit heinous crimes. They convinced thousands of ICE officers they were being "patriotic". This is how sick some people are, even today, almost a century after a mentally ill German did the same.

As of early May 2026, at least 17 to 18 people have died in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody during 2026, with deaths occurring at a rate of roughly one every six days. This follows a record-high 46 reported deaths in 2025.

IF TRUMP SUCCESSFULLY ELIMINATES OVERSIGHT OF CRIMES COMMITTED WITHIN ICE DETENTION CENTERS THEY WILL BE REPEATING THE PATH TO MASS GENOCIDE.
