The election result this week in Hungary removing Prime Minister Viktor Orbán ending 16 years in power is historic.
The people of Hungary have been suffering from Orbán's abuse of government powers. He's enriched himself, he's empowered his military to suppress dissent and he's taken the side of Vladimir Putin. Orbán has positioned himself as Putin's key ally inside the European Union. Orbán regularly challenged European unity, blocked aid to Ukraine and provided Russia with the energy Putin's murderers needed to wage war. Reports exist stating Orbán actually told Putin, "I am at your service".
Strategically Hungary would have become Russia's launching point to continue it's aggression against Poland, Estonia and surrounding democratic controlled countries. Once putin had control of the eastern European region he would most likely ramp up his attacks against Austria, Germany, Italy, France, etc.
Hungary was Putin's key to conquering Europe. Today, his man in power Orbán has been removed. Literally, western "free" Europe has been saved from militaristic dictatorship.
Trump's man, James Donald Bowman (Self-proclaimed J.D. Vance probably because it's "slicker") failed to influence the people of Hungary to keep their dictator in power. In fact, it is now painfully obvious to this administration that anyone in Trump's sphere of corruption and lies is an re-election killer.
Trump is freaking out. Reports say he's even turning to mental health specialists to deal with his anxiety about his imminent loss of power coming in November. Recent interim elections across the nation indicate Democrats will smash Republicans in the mid-terms. Without Republican majorities in the Senate and House Trump will face not only impeachment but probable criminal prosecution for HIS abuse of power. Trump's sacking scores of qualified employees of the Department of Justice will come back to haunt him as those improperly terminated positions are refilled with people who follow the law.
Trump's acts of sifting billions of dollars in tax-payer funds into his family wealth alone will be enough to convict him of embezzlement on a scale never seen.
Hungarian voters have changed the course of their history. Americans will in November.
