Commentary:

I had to revise this posting three times today because the sickness and death tolls were changing minute by minute.

The stark truth. The deaths are mounting in the USA. We are on path to see the same level of devastation as we've been seeing in Italy, France, Iran.

We could lose as many as two or three million Americans. Much much more worldwide.

And, as this horrific tragedy is unfolding TRUMP AND REPUBLICANS ARE TRYING TO STUFF THE POCKETS OF RICH PEOPLE!!!!

* Oh, and Trump is also having his Attorney General William Barr eradicating criminal cases against him. That's a whole other level of scuminess., but we must focus on the virus for now.

The PHASE III stimulus that House Democrats were ready to roll on LAST WEEK, has been in Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans hands for days. The House was calling for IMMEDIATE FINANCIAL AID to Americans who are forced to stay home, many of these people saw their last pay checks last week. These funds were to be used ONLY for emergency services and personnel, and for vital medical and administrative services to care for the sick.

What have the Republicans been doing with the bill? while people die.

THEY HAVE BEEN WRITING IN MASSIVE FUNDINGS TO THEIR FINANCIAL SUPPORTERS. Large corporations.

Here's a wonderful example. Trump wants to give BILLIONS of our tax dollars to the shipping industry. Investigative reporting has now uncovered the fact MOST THOSE COMPANIES DON'T EVEN REGISTER THEIR SHIPS AS U.S. VESSELS. THAT WAY THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY U.S. TAXES.

Other industries can be called out for their tax shelters, and of course most DON'T EVEN PAY TAX NOW WITH TRUMP'S TAX GIFT TO THE WEALTHY.

But the real danger written into this bill was the fact that Republicans want A $500 BILLION DOLLAR FUND FOR CORPORATION BAIL OUTS THAT HAS NO OVERSIGHT, NO ACCOUNTABILITY. Trump's economic "genius" Steven "I foreclose on families" Mnuchin wants to be able to fund the companies TRUMP chooses, or not fund the companies TRUMP chooses... with no questions asked. Imagine Trump having $500 billions to do "what he does"... MANIPULATE!!!

* right now Trump supporters as shaking their heads... "so what?"

June 25, 2019, nine months ago Donald Trump made a "perfect phone call" to a country leader, one of our key allies in Europe, Ukraine, that was under attack by Russia. During that scripted phone call Trump very carefully did not mention anything eluding to extortion, blackmail, and withholding 393 million U.S. tax payer dollars, to be used for weaponry against the massive Russian army.

No, Trump sure didn't say anything incriminating during that July phone conversation...

BECAUSE HE AND HIS STAFF HAD ALREADY MADE IT CLEAR UKRAINE WOULD HAVE TO CONCOCT INVESTIGATIONS AGAINST HIS RUNNING MATE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THOSE ALLOTTED, LEGALLY BOUND FUNDS.

That's what Donald Trump does with BLANK CHECKS.

Extortion, blackmail, mob tactics.

For one reason. His benefit.

So, I think we can all understand why people who have brains are a little leery OF GIVING TRUMP AND HIS TEAM OF "PERFECT PHONE CALLERS" $500 BILLION OF OUR DOLLARS!!!

Oh, and for those stead-fast Trump supporters scoffing... Your guy got IMPEACHED because of the mountain of evidence proving his guilt.

And yesterday, during the CoV19 press conference in the White House press room (the virus den) a reporter asked if any of those funds would go into a Trump companies bank account...

Trump's response was deflection, denial and Trump whining about "not making billions I could be making not being president".

Give us a break, Trump.
