Commentary:

State of National Emergency declared. 7,700 confirmed CoV cases in the USA, 134 deaths. Estimated cases 280,000 plus worldwide, almost 8,000 deaths. Cities shutting down. Stocks crashing. Millions of Americans will not be able to pay their bills, mortgages, rent. Even worse for people worldwide without the means to weather this storm.

Human existence in this age was pretty much living on borrowed time. CoronaVirus is a test of our societies preparedness for disease. The United States, the richest most powerful country should be soaring to full survival.

We are not.

I hope this crisis will open people eyes as to the imbalance of wealth, resources, fair access to life saving medical supplies.

In the meantime. Trump is acting in "last-ditch" mode now. His lack to react sooner to CoV has now resulted in a exploding National pandemic. And a looming National economic disaster. Today Trump passed a Domestic Protection Act that will order manufacturers of certain products to begin manufacturing medical equipment. That is no-brainer. The USA has approx. 180,000 ventilators. Projections show as many as two to three million might be needed. Trump is shutting down the Canadian and Mexico borders. But the virus IS HERE! Trump keeps bringing up some lame "payroll tax deduction". Geezus. All that would do is put money into the hands of EMPLOYERS who MAY trickle down benefits to employees in six or eight MONTHS!!! People will be getting eviction notices in weeks TRUMP!!

The only "benefit" of that plan would be so Trump can boast about "lowering taxes" during his nightmare reelection campaign. Trump your reelection is dead. Your "booming economy" is dead. This is all about saving lives now.

and still, the Republicans are playing "politics"

House Democrats worked through the night last week to write a bill to provide IMMEDIATE medical and financial support resources for us all.

... the Republicans Senate took the weekend off.

Today, 6 gruesome days later the Republican controlled Senate finally began to see the need for a sweeping dispersion of monies to be put into the hands of every American NOW.

U.S. hospitals predict they will not be able to even handle half of sick Americans if the pandemic continues on it's current trajectory.

CoV19 is now in all fifty states. New York, Washington State, California are all shutting down in order to "flatten the curve" of the growth in infections.

As many as a million people may die in the coming months. All aspects of our governing powers should be working to provide basic medical services. And that's all.

MR TRUMP, STOP THINKING OF YOUR REELECTION. YOUR ECONOMY IS OVER. AND STEP UP OR STEP ASIDE.
