Democrats are the side of justice, forgiveness, protecting.. But, let's remember Trump wanted to "Lock someone up" who tried to keep emails out of her oppositions hands. (First time that's happened [SARCASM] then turned around and violated the Presidential Records Act HIDING INFORMATION, HIS CONVERSATIONS REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE PUBLIC RECORD.

The response from Democratic leaders was swift and justified. The American public voted in the Democratic majority in the House or Representatives specifically for the purpose of removing Donald J. Trump from office.
The damage to our society is done. Hopefully a lesson was learned. But, allowing Trump to remain in office without answering to his ethical, criminal and likely WORSE crimes would set a precedent that future "Lying, Con Men, Cheats" would rely on as they try to follow in Trump's footsteps.
Now for legal and honorary purposes I will say again "Mr. Trump is entitled to all assumptions of innocence until proven guilty". But the fact is Trump has been proven guilty for DECADES.
1. Corrupt business practices and associations and illicit ties with powerful people with "questionable" ethics. Money laundering? Mob actions? we'll see.
2. Milking MILLIONS from his customers for decades. Trump family scams to overcharge New York Tenants for DECADES, not paying contractors, employees, bills, fines, TAXES!!!
3. Abusing bankruptcy laws and financial protections from monetary prosecution. "playing" the rules. Losing hundreds of millions of other people's dollars to build "Taj Mahals" and golden palaces.
4. Abusing people's trust. Manipulation. etc etc etc
Criminal proof of guilt is a high bar to cross. This protects our citizens from the bigger monsters: lying accusers, corrupt police, judges, and government officials. This is why O.J. Simpson walked. Police violating rights outweighed a horrific murder...
And Trump is the threat of all these "monsters" being in power in OUR HIGHEST OFFICE. Let's be real here. If the Democrats lost the 2018 election Trump would have transformed into even more of an evil giant. He would have canned Mueller and tied a dog collar around every FBI and CIA officer's neck.
The Khashoggi torture murder investigation... would have disappeared. More weapons sold to HIS MURDERERS!
Any talk of Russia in Trump tower, treasonous use of information in his campaign... circular filed and forgotten.
Regulations on corporate greed, pollution, public safety, employee rights GONE!
Trump and his Billionaires in power, the real powers... the people who remain in the dark, silent to the public... who don't appear on CNN and PBS would continue to conspire with this money-hungry demon in their quest for ALL THE WEALTH.
And of course massive increases in weapons spending benefiting TRUMP FAMILY INVESTMENTS would coincide with Trump on TV telling us mind control garbage like "Democrats are socialists""Immigration is a crisis" "World leaders love me".
Nancy be prepared to act because when Trump is proven to have committed even a fraction of the crimes he's implicated in he will go down as one of the most corrupt dishonest self-serving treasonous con men in history.
You are correct impeachment will "divide" our Country. But Trump answering for his crimes is vital... You can't allow him to continue in fear of the response from his followers... that would be allowing them to hold our Country hostage. Rewarding people "ok with his crimes" and the expense of law abiding citizens.
You left the door open... Mr. Mueller will probably give Trump and out, but Trump will refuse it. Evidence will be seen that will disgust us all.
