I have to admit I couldn't do it. I've watched every State-of-the-Union speech since I was a teen but this one... I tuned in several times but what I heard was just rubbish.

Yesterday in my post I made a comment "Even O.J. Simpson wasn't stupid enough to talk about the weather during his trial". We witnessed a president of the United States doing exactly that! Trump talked about the snow, what computers were like when he was in school (abacus), and boasted, boasted, boasted.

I think most Americans saw he was dying on stage, seemingly stretching every sentence for what purpose? Did Trump think we were all tuning in to hear boasting?

Most notable; Trump boasted about how he has created the "lowest crime rate in 100 years". That is a fact-slanted pile of BS. State authorities are responsible for lower crime rates. A challenge they have been faced with for decades. Sure some types of crime are lower but look at the most horrific... murders, sex crimes and fraud.

Ooooh... now there's a couple topics I would have been glued to the TV to hear Trump talk about... Murder?, Sex-crimes? Fraud? Statements in the Epstein files elude to all these! And one name in particular just seems to be shown in every heinous accusation.... DONALD TRUMP!

FUN FACT: Firearm deaths increased sharply over the past decade, rising from 92 to 132 deaths per day from 2012 to 2022. Gun supporters, who adore Trump for protecting them from smarter gun laws, remind us many of the deaths caused by guns are suicide. Whoopie, as if it matters who's pulling the trigger! A GUN DEATH IS A GUN DEATH!! Trump famously said the day after the worst mass-murder in U.S. history in Las Vegas "we're going to take a look at gun laws". Yea, he sure looked at them, then did absolutely NOTHING!

So, boasting about "lowest crime" is just another Trump con. It really doesn't matter if less TVs are being stolen if more people are dying.

Trump did pander, patronize and parade... the "Three P's" of Trump's speeches:

* He took credit for successes other people have had in business. Yea, they've received a couple hundred billion dollars more from the working middle class, easy to show success with that!

* He had loving compliments for his loyal republicans (some of which looked like they were asleep).

* He honored veterans (you know the people in the streets of our nation because he's cut funding for VA facilities)

* He awarded the U.S.A. Hockey team awards for their victory in the Olympics. That, is something you see in a speech given by a coach in a High School gym. Many coaches have comb-overs or cheap hair pieces. You know, what Trump would look like without his bondo team.

FUN FACT: “[Trump] does not do any official work until his hair and makeup are finished. The makeup process takes 25 minutes and he often screams that it’s taking too long. The makeup artists blend it into his hairline and neck but there are often visible boundary lines. It takes another hour and a half to sculpt his hair to hide the reality that Trump is almost entirely bald.

I think everyone who saw this "escapade of deception" speech will agree our current president is in decline. His age, his decade long battle against legal prosecution, his constant reminders that he's mentioned in the Epstein files MORE THAN ONE MILLION TIMES! is taking a tole.

I kind of feel sorry for him. His approval rating is now as low as Richard Nixon, AFTER Nixon was found guilty of illegal espionage of fellow Americans.

Donald, seriously... we're not buying your BS. You're probably days away from being outed for your involvement in the worse sex scandal in U.S. history. Stop selling us "great again"... we want "HONESTY AGAIN".
