There's an obscure movie that was made in the 80s. It is mandatory educational material for anyone who wants to understand Trump's thinking. It's called "The Ratings Game".
It started an up incoming actor who was little known at the time, but went on to be a Hollywood comedic legend. His name: Danny DeVito.
The movie is very low budget, didn't to well at the box office, and died in movie rental hell.
But, the premise of the movie is a classic lesson in ego-maniac self-centerdness.
DeVito plays a psycho-driven TV producer who is so obsessed with controlling the entertainment airwaves he comes up with a diabolically insane idea to be number one.
He hijacks the Nielsen TV ratings system. This was a large group of normal every-day TV watchers who's TV watching habits were monitored so that TV networks could "see" which programs were hits, which were misses.
DeVito gets his hands on a list of all the Nielsen TV watchers, sends them a bogus letter informing them they had "won a free cruise"... He hires a ship, a crew, loads up all those unsuspecting people aboard... and has them set sail.
They are sailed into the middle of the ocean... for weeks, then MONTHS!!!
Meanwhile back in TV land, DeVito replaces all the monitored channels with direct lines to his staff members who report on his shows. Thus, turning all his programs into smash hits.
It get hilarious as DeVito becomes so self-adoring, emboldened by his "fake" successes he starts to produce ridiculous programs. TV shows so "DeVito" they stink but ... are instant hits!
My favorite... A Saturday morning cartoon about some criminals... all characters played by DeVito that depicts loan sharking, extortions, crimes in a "cute-cartoon" world.
"frikkin this, frikkin that".
This is where we are today. The United States Government in being transformed into Donald Trump's "frikkin" circus of liars, thieves, criminals.
Trump has his own media, controlled by the Billionaires who want him to stay in office. He says anything that makes him look "tremendous"... as of today the New York Times estimated OVER 17,000 LIES from Trump "frikkin" mouth.
who's questioning his lies, his abhorrent decisions?

That's his "Saturday morning cartoon" term for anyone who doesn't kiss his "frikkin" a**.
Trump doesn't want people around him asking him why he extorts, why he says insane untruths, why he gets up in front of his rally crowds and calls people names.
No, Trump wants BOBBLE-HEADS.
The original Bobble-head being his Vice President Mike Pence... who whenever he's in a room with Trump looks like a teenager with a crush. "Oh, Donny, you're sooooo dreamy"... ICK!!
Brilliant, honest people like Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Former FBI Director James Comey, Sec of Defense John Kelly, Sec of Defense John Kelly, and about 30 others, all respected people. GONE
and this week Director of National Intelligence, retired Vice Admiral Joseph Maguire who had the AUDACITY to brief our Congress on Russia interfering in the 2020 election GONE!!!
Trump has turned 1600 Pennsylvania Ave into his hit TV show. And his ratings are based on Billionaire BULL**T spun false data.
The question: How far will this Senate let Trump go exchanging good honest people with "TRUMP-EVER-ERS"
