Amazon, Walmart and all the robotic distribution services put millions of people out of business, closed Brick n Mortar shops, costing sales people, clerks, cashiers, stock personnel, accounting, supply, support people millions of jobs.

Walmart went even farther taking away health care... another reason Obamacare has to happen... when the largest employer takes away health care the others follow.

We can argue all day if consolidating merchandisers into massive "web - hubs" is good or bad for society. Sure prices are lower BECAUSE FEWER PEOPLE ARE HANDED PAYCHECKS but no one can argue Amazon will ever make up for the losses in terms of employed humans. And that cost is passed to your town at your local vacant retail centers, welfare, etc.
