Sondland lied PROFUSELY during the depositions in front of the U.S. House of Representatives investigators. But, he had to... He couldn't just come out and tell the TRUTH about what Trump was doing, extorting Ukraine's President Zalensky to smear Joe Binden.
No, Sondland "forgot things"... "didn't see things"... "denied things"... until that damn stuff showed up... what's that stuff called ... oh yea TRUTHFUL EVIDENCE.
Sondland was facing prison for lying under oath. And, there was a good chance with all the floods of evidence pointing to Trump's guilt Trump would be impeached.
Sondland didn't know for sure if Trump's loyal Republican Senators would be as dishonest as he is.

Vindman is the the guy in every movie who is in the middle of a bad situation and INSTEAD OF RUNNING ON HIS BONE SPURS AWAY FROM THE CRIMES... He confronted them head on.
Vindman encapsulates what every soldier, officer, politician and citizen should strive to be when they see a superior breaking the law. Honest, forthcoming and fearless of retribution.
