At this point I think most people hearing these disgusting comments from Trump, his administration and Republicans are almost as bad as witnessing the most horrific murders on the streets on Minneapolis last week.

Nevada has a "peach" of a house representative Mark Amodei who represents the 2nd District encompassing a huge swath of the state from Lake Tahoe northeast to the Oregon/Idaho border. There's not many colleges and liberal thinking in this region aside from a thin 10 mile stretch along the California border on the west side. In that area there's conflicts between native Nevadans who dislike the influx of Californians who move there.

Amodei is a Nevadan through and through. He votes for measures that entice Californians and their businesses but turns around and tells his constituents he's "against growth". He votes against forward thinking initiatives like solar power, but welcomes oil and gas mega-investments. He tells people he will support lower price housing... but votes for corporations who build hundreds of homes at a time, then turn around and rent them out, at their price.

My favorite Amodei moment: He was in front of a crowd touting a new investment in Nevada's infrastructure... Amodei voted on party lines during president Bidens administration on pretty much every infrastructure bill.

I saw Amodei one time on a walk in our home town. I was too busy shaking my head to shake his hand.

Now, we hear from "Mr. on the people's side". He tries, like Trump, Noem, ICE to justify the outright murders of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti by placing blame on protestors. Protesting is a constitutional right. Americans are seeing the actions of Trump gestapo ICE as an occupation by a violent organization. YOU DAMN BET WE'RE STANDING UP AND "AGITATING".

Here's why. A 20 second history lesson: Most of the citizens of Germany were against Hitler, when they saw his first acts of violence against people of Jewish descent many spoke out, stood up, stood by. But, Hitler amassed a huge arsenal of weapons and drafted young impressionable German boys to do his dirty-work. He squashed the dissenters, those speaking up... "agitators".

Well, Mr. Amodei it's 2026 and I've been reporting the acts of a person who wants to be a dictator in the USA for over 10 years now... I'm a proud agitator!
